Are You Pinterested?
Trish is a total enabler. She's put together the "Pin It and Do It" challenge for the month of May, and I do believe I'm gonna have to jump in here!
I'm going with the Timid Pinner level with plans to carry out 1 to 3 of my chosen pins! The strategery right now is to tackle one recipe, one craft, and maybe try to read one book I've posted on my Book (Lust) Wishlist board. Sounds pretty well-rounded, eh?
If you visit my Pinterest page you'll see that I have a wide variety of boards: book-related, crafts, design, food, fashion, and OWLS! Lots of opportunity for creativity, but like so many others, I get bogged down and don't actually *do* these things. No more!
Thanks, Trish!

I am hoping to accomplish some things, too! Good luck. :)
ReplyDeleteGood luck to you too! What projects are you planning? :)
DeleteI have never investigated Pintrest, but I might have to do this now!
ReplyDeleteHeather, it's a LOT of fun. And it really does stoke one's creativity. ;)
DeleteOoooh, I love Pinterest but have (so far) restrained myself from getting too craft-crazy -- it's all aspirational (and I'm super un-crafty!) Good luck!
ReplyDeleteAudra, I'm pretty uncrafty myself, but there are a few very simple projects I want to work on for displaying my son's artwork, pics, etc. Fun stuff!
DeleteI am enabling you in a GOOD way!!! Otherwise it's just mindless pinning, right? Ha! Either way--glad you've joined. Can't wait to see what you do!
ReplyDeleteTrish, absolutely good enabling! I've done a few Pinterest projects and recipes but I certainly need to engage in more!
DeleteYep, definitely well-rounded! Mine will probably be mostly recipes since that should be easy to get done, but that's just way too boring. :( I really need to make myself a TBR board, like most of you smart people have already done. :)
ReplyDeleteDebi, recipes will be my fall back, I'm sure. lol They are the easiest to accomplish. The TBR board is a lot of fun. I also have a wishlist board which is more dangerous.
DeleteGood luck with your challenge! I love Pinterest so hard.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it great, Brooke? So much funnnn!
DeleteI signed up for Pinterest but didn't want to log in through Facebook and then . . . no idea what happened. It disappeared. I guess I could sign back up, but it's not like I need another time suck. I'm a little envious, though. The challenge sounds delightful. Have fun!
ReplyDeleteIt is quite the time suck, Nancyroo, but a lot of fun. Let me know if you join us again! Would love to follow your boards.
DeleteTrish is a total enabler -- albeit a very sweet one! :) I joined the challenge, too, and will also be going with the Timid Pinner level. My goal is to utilize a few of the organization tips I've pinned, especially for my baking supplies. Should be fun!
ReplyDeleteOooh! Organizational tips are a great idea!! Good luck with the challenge, Meg! Trish is a wonderful, fantastic enabler. :D
DeleteI'm beginning to think I may end up adding more pins to my boards from seeing what everyone else is doing than I could every possibly hope to actually use. Kind of like my problem with books!
ReplyDeleteI've signed up for Pinterest and done nothing with it. I've got to get going with it this summer and will let you inspire me to do that!
